Holiday and Peak Times 2022

We charge a $8.00 fee for Holiday and Peak to encourage our staff members to work during these busy times. This incentive allows us to take on more visits. Please note during these times we do fill up and may have to place a block if we are at capacity. Please book early to assure your visits can be added to our schedule. 

Holiday charges will appear on your invoice after visits are approved.

Holiday and Peak Day Policy

Austin Cat Sitters is committed to visiting as many cats as we can during the peak days and holidays. Due to the high demand over the holidays we always encourage our clients to book their visits early. We will accept as many visits as we can and will continue to be in communication as we process through booking the final schedules. Delay in booking visits may result in the request being placed on the waitlist as we work through schedules of sitters and cancelations.

To help increase the number of visits we can complete we will not accept requests of three times a day visits without a medical reason. We will also not accept hour long visits. We kindly ask that clients book visits as Anytime Visits as this allows us to adjust schedules and be able to visit more cats.

Holiday Cancellation Policy

We have a special holiday cancellation policy that applies to the Thanksgiving and the December holidays. Any Thanksgiving visits booked the day before Thanksgiving (Wednesday) through the Sunday following must be cancelled by 8:00pm on Tuesday two weeks previous to the holiday (November 9th) to avoid a full charge. Additionally, any December Holiday visits booked on December 23rd through January 1st must be cancelled by December 9th at 8:00pm to avoid a full charge.
